About Me
Always interested in arts and crafts, Chrissie took an Honours Degree in Three Dimensional Design. Her first years in theatre were spent working in the wardrobe department, honing her sewing and making skills.
Chrissie started an apprenticeship in wig making. For 12 years she was assistant to Michael Ward, Wig and Makeup Designer. In 1999 she became Manager of the Wig Workshop, making wigs and headdresses for national and international productions.
Since 2009 Chrissie has pursued a freelance career, combining her wig making and costume skills to specialise in wigs as well as unusual hair projects and headdresses.
